APAP NYC Explores the Transformative Power of the Arts
A performing arts professional with over 20 years of experience, Alec Doyle serves as the executive director of the Colonial Theatre in Keene, NH. Involved in several organizations that support his work in Keene, NH, Alec Doyle maintains membership in groups such as the Association of Performing Arts Professionals, New England Presenters and the League of Historic American Theatres.
The annual members conference for the Association of Performing Arts Professionals (APAP) provides attendees an opportunity to network, experience work by established and emerging artists, and participate in valuable professional development workshops. The 2018 APAP conference will take place January 12-16 at the New York Hilton Midtown, Sheraton New York Times Square and multiple performance venues across the city. The theme for the conference, trans.ACT, will focus on the transformative power of the arts in modern culture. Sessions will revolve around issues related to artistry, accessibility, equity, and support for the industry at large as it evolves and grows.
More than one thousand showcases serve as a highlight for APAP NYC attendees. These showcases give performing artists of all genres an opportunity to perform in front of a select audience of industry professionals from across the globe.
